Trip to Siem Reap (Cambodia) - Day 3

This was supposed to be the big day of our Siem Reap(Cambodia) trip as we were to visit some of its greatest temples named Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon , Phimeanakas , Baphuon , Terrace of the Elephants and Ta Phrom . 

After the customary breakfast at our hotel , NiTa's friend was already waiting for us at the hotel lobby. NiTa was appearing for his driving test today and therefore he had informed us yesterday itself that he couldn't make it today and would be sending his friend instead.

Our first stop was the great Angkor Wat temple.The temple is so magnificient that one couldn't stop thinking how did they built it 1000 years back !

After that refreshing swim took some rest , then it was time for window shopping , massage , dinner.......

Trip to Siem Reap (Cambodia) - Day 2

Day 2 plan was the 'Big Tour' as they call it!

It included visit to some far off temples named  Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Pre Rup, Banteay Srei, East Mebon and a sunset at Angkor Wat.

After the breakfast at our hotel NiTa was already waiting for us with his tuk tuk .

We first drove us to the pass center where we bought our 3 day adult photo passes for USD 40 each, kids below 12 go free! The photo passes are promptly checked by staff at entrance of each temple.

After Preah Khan everyone was too tired for any more temples , so we decided to give sunset at Angkor Wat a miss and head to the hotel for a plunge in the pool!
