Thanks to our friend Ranade kaku , we got to do a quick Mumbai sight seeing tour on the very next day we landed in Mumbai during our last visit to India i.e Dec 2016.
We started from her Grant road residence after having a delicious home cooked breakfast.
First stop was the famous Mahalaxmi temple before we headed to Malabar hill to see the hanging gardens/Priyadarshini park .Next was a ride through fort area to get a glimpse of some famous Mumbai landmarks such as the Gateway of India/Taj Mahal hotel , CST Terminus , Rajabai tower , Mantralaya, Vidhan Sabha etc. We were then treated for a scrumptious Gujarati thali lunch at the famous Samrat restaurant , Churchgate. On the way back we drove via the Nariman point/Marine drive and Chowpatty.
